Rick Cosnett Joins ABC's 'Quantico' In Recurring Role – TVWise

ABC is continuing to build the cast for Quantico.
Mere days after the network announced that Private Practice and Cougar Town star Josh Hopkins had joined the cast as series regular, The Flash‘s Rick Cosnett has been tapped for a recurring role in the FBI drama, TVWise has learned.
Cosnett, whose also had a recurring role on The CW’s The Vampire Diaries, will play Elias Harper, an openly gay former defense attorney who used his rhetoric and savvy against FBI cases. Recruited by Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) as an analyst for his brilliant mind, Elias is described as a debate-team type who loves to be right but also has a soft and kind-hearted side.
Quantico follows a diverse group of recruits who have arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11. The series is set up at ABC Studios and stars Priyanka Chopra, Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington and Graham Rogers.
