Netflix is adding to the cast of House Of Cards.
Party Of Five and Welcome To Sweden alum Neve Campbell has joined the cast of the streaming giant’s White House drama for its 13 episode fourth season, TVWise has confirmed. Exact character details are being kept firmly under wraps with no one prepared to give so much as a hint about Campbell’s role. Deadline first reported the news.
Created by Beau Willimon, House of Cards follows ruthless politician Francis Underwood, as he ascends from the position of House Majority Whip to President of the United States. The drama series is produced by Trigger Street Productions & Media Rights Capital and stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.
The show’s fourth season, which Netflix officially ordered back in April, is set to pick up from the events of the show’s third season with Frank Underwood running to secure a full term as President of the United States, after serving out the term of his predecessor. Complicating matters is Claire Underwood’s apparent decision to leave her husband in the finale. Production on the new season is expected to commence in Baltimore this Summer.
