Channel 4 has renewed their Sandy Toksvig fronted quiz show Fifteen To One for three more seasons. The total order is for a further 100 episodes, which will be split across the three new seasons. Seasons three and four will be shot in Glasgow, while production will re-locate to Manchester for the fifth season.
Fronted by Toksvig and produced by Argonon owned indie Remedy Productions, Fifteen To One sees fifteen contestants face off in a general quiz, with only one emerging as the winner. The fifteen highest scoring winners return for the season finale, where they compete for the title of Grand Champion and a £40,000 prize.
“Sandi is undoubtedly one of Britain’s toughest quiz mistresses and we are delighted to welcome both her and the show back to the channel for three more series”, said Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor Ed de Burgh. “We look forward to seeing Britain’s smartest quiz minds take on the Fifteen To One challenge.”
“Fifteen to One is one of the UK’s most-loved quiz shows so we’re delighted that Channel 4 has commissioned three further series for the channel, added Remedy Productions’ Chief Creative Officer Tom Blakeson. “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to confirm that the brilliant Sandi Toksvig will be back for another 100 episodes; her razor sharp wit makes her the perfect host for Britain’s brainiest quiz.”
