MTV UK Orders Music Series ‘Live Lockdown’ From JJ Stereo, Featuring Fall Out Boy, Ella Henderson & More

MTV Logo (FA Pro)MTV Networks UK has given the green-light to Live Lockdown, an 8 episode music series, from production company JJ Stereo, which will feature “some of the hottest pop acts around”.

Live Lockdown is presented by up and coming star Becca Dudley and features an underground colosseum style set, designed and constructed by JJ Stereo and EMAs Creative Director, Paul Caslin. The series will feature some of the hottest pop acts around at the moment, including Fall Out Boy, Ella Eyre, Ella Henderson, Jess Glynn and Kwabs. Precious Media will handle global distribution.

In addition, MTV has re-commissioned JJ Stereo to produce Relentless Ultra Presents Soundchain and Ibiza Rocks. Sounchain, which is a partnership between MTV and Relentless Energy Drink, features in depth artist interviews, discussions on musical influences and inspirations and unique intimate live performances; while Ibiza Rocks is a six part series of live music, which in the past has featured a range of acts, including Ed Sheeran. The new season of Ibiza will be hosted by Laura Whitmore. A one-off special examining the history of Ibiza Rocks has also been ordered to mark the event’s 10th birthday.

Superstar DJ’s with Annie Mac was a benchmark series for Channel 4 and showed that intelligent music programming can still shine through and this is our seventh year of doing Ibiza Rocks”, said John Paveley, Creative Director of JJ Stereo.
