HBO has released the key art for The Brink, their ten episode comedy series starring Jack Black (School Of Rock) and Tim Robbins (The Spoils Of Babylon).
The Brink opens as a rogue general seizes control of Pakistan and its nuclear arsenal, the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of three improbable Americans: Secretary of State Walter Larson, lowly Foreign Service officer Alex Talbot and ace Navy fighter pilot Zeke Tilson. From the turbulent streets of the Middle East, to the White House situation room, to an aircraft carrier on the Red Sea, these three compromised souls must pull through the chaos around them to save the planet from World War Three.
The ten episode series was created by Roberto Benabib & Kim Benabib and stars Jack Black, Tim Robbins, Pablo Schreiber, Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales and Geoff Pierson. Guest stars lined up for the first season include John Larroquette, Carla Gugino, Mimi Kennedy, Melanie Kannokada, Marshall Manesh, Meera Syal, Erick Avari, Iqbal Theba, Rob Brydon, Michelle Gomez, Lamont Thompson, Bernard White, Jaimie Alexander and Mary Farber. Jerry Weintraub, Roberto Benabib and Jay Roach serve as executive producers.
