First Images: NBC’s New Shows For 2015–2016 Season – TVWise

TVWise continues our Upfronts coverage with a first look image gallery of the new shows that NBC has ordered for the 2015–2016 season.
The Upfronts are finally upon us and the networks are preparing to present their newest series to the press and Madison Avenue in the next few days. Sticking to tradition, NBC is the first to present and are hoping to impress after a fairly lacklustre 2014-2015 season.
Unlike last year – and some might argue BECAUSE of the woes of last season – Robert Greenblatt and top lieutenant Jennifer Salke have been a bit more conservative, picking up 13 new shows (compared to 16 last year). There are also a further three new series in the works for the new season that were rolled from last year (Emerald City, Shades Of Blue and Heroes: Reborn).
Things are a little drama heavy at NBC, with eight of the thirteen new shows being hour-long series. There are a few early standouts like Chicago Med, sniper drama The Player and David Lyons starrer Game Of Silence. On the comedy side of things all five new entries have strong buzz, with NBC execs particularly high on the Coach revival; and Crowded, starring Carrie Preston and Patrick Warburton.
NBC has now released the first images from a number of their twelve new series, which you can check out in the gallery below. Also include in the gallery is first image from a number of upcoming Summer series such as The Carmichael Show, Aquarius and Mr Robinson.
