Sky Living Sets Premiere Date For Three-Parter ‘The Enfield Haunting’

Sky Living’s three=part supernatural drama The Enfield Haunting will premiere on Sunday May 3rd at 9pm, it has been announced.

Based on Guy Lyon Playfair’s book This House is Haunted, The Enfield Haunting is a supernatural drama based upon real events that took place at an ordinary house in Enfield during the autumn of 1977. The drama draws on extensive documentation, recordings and witness statements of the incident, which remains one of the most documented account of poltergeist activity in British history.

The three-parter, which may well wind up being one of the last original dramas commissioned by Sky Living given recently announced plans to abandon originals in favour of US acquisitions, was penned by Joshua St Johnston and is being produced by Eleven Films. The cast includes Timothy Spall (Harry Potter), Matthew Macfadyen (Ripper Street) and Juliet Stevenson (The Village).
