Justified‘s final season is heading to the UK….and sooner than many originally expected.
Sky On Demand will exclusively premiere the sixth and final season of the FX series. The final 13 episodes of the Timothy Olyphant fronted drama will be available to UK audiences in the Box Sets section of Sky On Demand from Wednesday April 15th, less than 24 hours after the series finale airs on FX in the United States.
This is the second season of Justified that has premiered exclusively via Sky On-Demand after the original UK broadcaster, Channel 5’s 5USA, dropped the series after airing the first four seasons. The news also comes mere days after Viacom announced that they had acquired the free-to-air rights to all six seasons of Justified for their soon-to-launch entertainment channel Spike UK.
Based on the novels by Elmore Leonard and developed for television by Graham Yost, Justified follows deputy US Marshall Raylan Givens whose unconventional approach to law enforcement sees him transferred from the agency’s field office in Florida to Kentucky. The drama series is produced by FX Productions & Sony Pictures Television and stars Timothy Olyphant, Nick Searcy, Joelle Carter, Jacob Pitts, Erica Tazel, Natalie Zea and Walton Goggins.
In the final season, the long brimming conflict between Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) will finally come to a head. Guest stars in the final 13 episodes include Mykelti Williamson (24), Natalie Zea (The Following) and Patton Oswalt (The King Of Queens).
