ITV Sets Premiere Date For 'Safe House' – TVWise

ITV’s four-part drama Safe House will premiere on Monday April 20th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Created by Michael Crompton, Safe House is set in the lake district and tells the story of a married couple, Robert and Katy, who are asked by close friend and police officer Mark to turn their remote guest house into a safe house. Their first ‘guests’ at the Safe House, are a family in fear of their lives after they are violently attacked by someone who claims to know them.
The drama, which is envisioned as a “potential returnable series”, is produced by Eleventh Hour Films and stars Christopher Eccleston (The Leftovers) Marsha Thomason (White Collar), Paterson Joseph (Law & Order: UK),Jason Merrells (Emmerdale), Nicola Stephenson (All At Sea), and Peter Ferdinando (Doctor Who).
Speaking at the time Safe House was commissioned, ITV’s Director of Drama Steve November and ITV’s Controller of Drama Victoria Fea said: “We’re delighted to commission Safe House from Jill Green and Eleventh Hour Films. It’s a compelling four-part drama from Michael Crompton with great characters and genuine twists which keep you guessing right to the end.”
