Fox Orders Half-Hour Animated Series 'Golan The Insatiable' – TVWise

Fox has handed out a six episode straight-to-series order to Golan The Insatiable, a half-hour animated comedy inspired by the 15 minute comedy series of the same name which originally aired back in 2013 as part of the network’s late night Animation Domination High-Def block.
Golan The Insatiable follows a mighty godlord from an alternate dimension who arrives in Oak Grove, MN, where his only friend is a macabre, nine-year-old girl named Dylan, who constantly urges him to wreak havoc on her town. This is the first ADHD project to land a prime-time series order from Fox.
The half-hour Fox series will feature an all-new guest cast, which will be led by Rob Riggle (22 Jump Street) and Aubrey Plaza (Parks & Recreation). Other voice talent lined up for the series includes Ken Marino (AXE COP), John DiMaggio (Futurama) and comedic actors Maria Bamford, Rachel Butera and Nick Rutherford.
Golan The Insatiable was created by Joshua Miller and developed by Matt Silverstein and Dave Jeser. Friends Night is producing in association with Double Hemm. Matt Silverstein, Dave Jeser, Nick Weidenfeld and Hend Baghdady serve as executive producers. Golan The Insatiable will premiere on Fox on Sunday May 31st at 9:30/8:30c.
