Fox’s Batman prequel Gotham will return to Channel 5 to finish airing its first season on Monday March 16th at 9pm, with a double-bill, it has been announced.
Created by Bruno Heller, Gotham examines the early years of James Gordon – who would eventually rise to become the Police Commissioner – in his years as a Gotham City Police Department homicide detective, as well as the early years of Batman and the iconic villains of Gotham City.
The drama series, which has been renewed for a second season, is produced by Warner Bros Television and stars Ben McKenzie (Southland), Donal Logue (Sons of Anarchy), Sean Pertwee (Jo), Robin Lord Taylor (The Walking Dead), Zabryna Guevara (Burn Notice), Erin Richards (Being Human), Zabryna Guevara (Burn Notice), Jada Pinkett Smith (Hawthorne), David Mazouz (Touch) and Camren Bicondova.
In the next new episode, titled Rogues’ Gallery, Detective Gordon’s assignment at Arkham Asylum gets off to a rocky start when the murder of a guard ignites an investigation, leading him to meet Dr. Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin). While, Cobblepot continues to build his army.
