BBC Three’s new drama series Tatau will premiere on Sunday April 12th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Tatau follows Kyle Connor and Paul Griffths, two 20-something friends from London who are travelling the world, eventually destined to wind up in the Cook Islands. Kyle is so excited about their eventual destination that he has gotten a Maori-style tattoo. When they arrive on the island, Kyle finds the body of a dead girl. But when he returns with the police, the body is gone and Kyle soon realises that he can see into the future and the murder hasn’t happened yet. With the help of his friend Paul he sets out to stop the crime before it occurs.
The drama series, which was created by Strike Back scribe Richard Zajdlic, is produced by Touchpaper Television and South Pacific Pictures in association with BBC America and stars Joe Layton, Theo Barklem-Biggs, Barry Atsma, Shushila Takao, Cian Elyse White, Tai Berdinner-Blades, Temuera Morrison, Alex Tarrant, Rawiri Jobe, Kirk Torrance and Rangimoana Taylor.
