BBC Four’s television adaptation of Miles Jupp’s radio sitcom In & Out Of The Kitchen will premiere on Wednesday March 11th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Based on the BBC Radio 4 series of the same name, In & Out Of The Kitchen follows the life of cookery writer Damien Trench, who lives in Queen’s Park with his partner Anthony. The radio series presented itself as entries from Damien’s diary and utilised a mixture of narrative, dialogue and recipes, through which Damien captures every angle of his day-to-day life.
The TV version, which was penned by Miles Jupp, has been in the works since as far back as May 2013, and ultimately landed a series order last January. It is produced by BBC In-House Comedy and stars Miles Jupp, Justin Edwards, Brendan Dempsey, Selina Cadell, Philip Fox and Ade Oyefoso.
