TV Trailer: ‘Ghost Hunters’ Season 9 On Sony Entertainment Television

Sony Entertainment Television has released the first trailer for the upcoming ninth season of Ghost Hunters.

Ghost Hunters follows the TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) team, led by Jason Hawes, as they investigate paranormal cases across the United States. Michelle Tate joins the TAPS team for the sixteen episode ninth season of Ghost Hunters.

The unscripted series is produced by Craig Piligian’s Pilgrim Studios for NBCUniversal’s Syfy network in the United States, who have renewed Ghost Hunters for a tenth season – expected to air this Summer. The executive producers are Craig Piligian, Thomas Thayer, Mike Nichols and Alan David.

Season nine’s opening episode sees the team take on a pair of spooky cases in California, starting with an investigation at the historic Sowden House, the Lloyd Wright-designed home said to be the site where Elizabeth Short, aka “The Black Dahlia,” was gruesomely murdered in 1947.

As TVWise previously reported, Sony Entertainment Television secured the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the ninth season of the Syfy series earlier this month after striking a deal with international distributor Alfred Haber Distribution. Previous seasons of the series have aired in the UK on Sky Living and UKTV’s Really Channel.
