NBC is assembling an impressive cast for Chicago Med

Epatha Merkeson as hospital administrator Sharon Goodwin, Yaya DaCosta as nurse Maggie Seaver and Laurie Holden as ER surgeon Dr Hannah Tramble.
If it goes to series Chicago Med, which is set up at Wolf Films and Universal Television, will become the second spin-off from Chicago Fire. The backdoor pilot is being penned by Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Matt Olmstead and Dick Wolf and will air as the nineteenth episode of Chicago Fire’s third season.
