The CW’s The Vampire Diaries will return to ITV2 to finish airing its sixth season from Wednesday March 4th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Based on the book series by LJ Smith, The Vampire Diaries tells the story of two vampire brothers, obsessed with the same girl, in a small town where supernatural beings live in secret amongst its residents. The drama series is produced by CBS Television Studios & Warner Bros. Television and stars Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Steven R. McQueen, Sara Canning, Kat Graham, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Kayla Ewell and Michael Trevino.
In the next new episode, titled Do You Remember The First Time?, Elena is forced to face her problems head on. After a night out at the annual Whitmore Medical Center Fundraiser, Jo (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) opens up to Alaric about her own tragic past. Meanwhile, Stefan, Matt and Enzo resort to extreme measures when Tripp (Colin Ferguson) withholds information about his vampire-killing operation, and Caroline is in a race against the clock when Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) gets caught in the middle of a dangerous plan.
