One of the Jonas brothers has boarded Scream Queens.
Nick Jonas is set to recur on the 15 episode comedy-horror series from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and 20th Century Fox Television, TVWise has learned.
Scream Queens is described as an “anthology series” which will tell a new comedy-horror story each season. The first season, which has an order for 15 episodes, revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders.
Exact details of the Jonas’ character are being kept firmly under wraps. He joins a cast which includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Joe Manganiello, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and Ariana Grande. Produced by Fox’s sister studio, Scream Queens is slated to commence filming this spring.
The series, which is eyed for a fall 2015 premiere, was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk & Ian Brennan, all three of whom are also set to executive produce. This is Murphy and Falchuk’s latest anthology series after FX’s American Horror Story and the upcoming American Crime Story.
