Netflix UK Releases Key Art, Sets Launch Date For 'Better Call Saul' – TVWise

Netflix UK & Ireland has firmed up the launch plans for the Bob Odenkirk fronted Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.
The streaming service will be following the release pattern of AMC and will be making episodes available with 24 hours of their US broadcast. The first episode will be available to stream on Monday February 9th, the second episode will then follow on Tuesday February 10th, with subsequent episodes made available to subscribers every Tuesday at 7am.
Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, Better Call Saul is set six years before Saul Goodman (Odenkirk) meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill. The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “criminal lawyer”. Jonathan Banks also stars.
Netflix UK & Ireland acquired Better Call Saul in December 2013, shortly after the project landed a series order at AMC, as part of a wide-ranging global deal between Netflix and series producer Sony Pictures Television. The series had been widely expected to land at Netflix UK, especially as the streaming site was the exclusive UK home to Breaking Bad.
