BBC One has released a new teaser image from the upcoming one-off 90 minute drama Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot starring Judi Dench and Dustin Hoffman.
Adapted for television by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer, Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot tells the story of Mr. Hoppy, who devises a wildly ingenious plot to win over his neighbor, Mrs. Silver, which involves a cryptic riddle and no fewer than a hundred tortoises. Will Mr Hoppy’s wildly ingenious plot win the love of his lady?
Set to air on BBC One this Chirstmas, the one-off 90 minute drama, which is being described a major part of the corporation’s Christmas schedule alongside the likes of The Boy In The Dress and a pair of Mrs Brown’s Boys specials, was produced by Endor Productions and directed by Dearbhla Walsh.
The release of this new image, which shows Judi Dench and Dustin Hoffman’s characters wrapped up warm in an elevator, comes less than a week after BBC One debuted the first teaser image for the Endor Productions produced Christmas drama.
