UKTV’s retrospective piece on Monty Python debuts on their Gold channel next week.
The series, titled Monty Python’s Best Bits (Mostly), debuts on Monday November 3rd and takes a look back on the works of the iconic comedy troupe and how their various acts have changed the comedy world. Ahead of the premiere, TVWise has gotten hold of some clips of the series, which you can watch below.
The two clips in question feature a wealth of talent – including Eddie Izzard, Simon Pegg, Stephen Fry and Chevy Chase – reflecting on Monty Python, what makes them so special and ultimately the effect that the troupe had on their own careers.
Monty Python’s Best Bits (Mostly) is the latest piece in Gold’s season of Monty Python themed programming. The channel previously aired the final performance of the live broadcast of the final Monty Python Live (mostly): One Down Five to Go stage show and ordered a one-off behind-the scenes documentary.
