The second season of The Job Lot will premiere on ITV2 on Wednesday September 24th at 10pm, it has been announced.
The Job Lot is set in a busy West Midlands Job Centre, and focuses on the relationships between the people who work there, and the people who don’t work there, or anywhere else for that matter. The comedy series stars Sarah Hadland, Russell Tovey, Sophie McShera, Tony Maudsley, Martin Marquez, Angela Curran, Jo Enright and Navin Chowdhry. Laura Aikman is joining the cast for the new six episode run of the Big Talk produced series
The second season, which was commissioned by the commercial broadcaster back in August 2013, sees The Job Lot relocate from its previous home on ITV to the youth-skewing ITV2. In the opening episode of season two, it is deputy manager Natalie’s first day at Brownall Job Centre, but after a night of drinks celebrating Trish’s divorce, the office gossip is more focused around who Karl went home with.
