History’s Adrien Brody fronted four-hour miniseries Houdini will receive its UK premiere on Channel 4 on Sunday September 7th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Houdini follows the man as he finds fame, engages in espionage, battles spiritualists and encounters the greatest names of the era, from U.S. presidents to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Grigori Rasputin. The drama chronicles the life of a man who can defy death through his stunts, his visions and his mastery of illusion.
The four-hour miniseries was penned by Nicholas Meyer, directed by Uli Edel and produced by Lionsgate Television and A&E Studios. Adrien Brody stars as Harry Houdini, while Kristen Connolly (House of Cards) and Evan Jones (A Million Ways to Die in the West) also star. The executive producers are Gerald W. Abrams and Andras Hamori.
