The third season of BBC Three’s comedy series Bad Education will premiere on Tuesday September 16th at 10pm, it has been announced.
Created by Jack Whitehall, Bad Education follows Alfie Wickers, Abbey Grove high school’s self-styled maverick teacher-in-residence. In reality though, as Alfie is straight out of teacher training and into his first job, he shares more traits with the kids he teaches than the other teachers; he is in fact a bigger kid than most of the kids in his class. The comedy series is produced by Tiger Aspect Productions and features a large cast which includes Jack Whitehall, Mathew Horne, Michelle Gomez, Harry Enfield and Sarah Solemani.
In the show’s third season exams are fast approaching and so it’s time for Alfie to finally knuckle down and start teaching his class. Meanwhile, Alfie’s dad Martin Wickers has been appointed as the new deputy head and despite his protestations that their relationship won’t affect the work place, his stories of “Smoocher” wetting himself on his 18th birthday mean it is all beyond cringe for Alfie. His love life’s also a disaster. Despite starting the term living with his girlfriend, biology teacher Miss Gulliver things go downhill rather quickly.
