Shad Moss (AKA Bow Wow) is set to co-star on CBS’ upcoming CSI spin-off CSI: Cyber, TVWise has learned.
CSI Cyber follows FBI Special Agent Avery Ryan, who runs the bureau’s Cyber Crime Division in Quantico, VA. Ryan is responsible for solving high-octane crimes that start in the mind, live on-line, and play out into the real world.
Bow Wow has been cast as Brody “Baby Face” Nelson, a nineteen year old hacker who is ordered by a federal judge to work with Special Agent Ryan “on loan” to assist with a cyber case or go to prison.
He is the latest addition to the cast of the CSI spin-off, which is set to premiere mid-season. The cast also includes Patricia Arquette as Special Agent Ryan, Peter MacNicol as Assistant Director Stavros Sifter, Charley Koontz as Special Agent Daniel Grummitz and James Van Der Beek as Special Agent Elijah Mundo.
The CSI: Cyber was created by Anthony Zuiker, Ann Donahue & Carol Mendelsohn and was initially piloted as an episode of CSI‘s fourteenth season. CBS Television Studios is producing with Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Anthony Zuiker, Ann Donahue, Carol Mendelsohn and Pam Veasey serving as executive producers.
