USA Network has released the first trailer for their upcoming six episode event series DIG, which is slated to premiere on the network this fall.
DIG follows FBI Special Agent Peter Connelly (Jason Isaacs) who is currently working in Jerusalem. While there, Connelly finds himself embroiled in a race to track down a religious artifact that could trigger an event that would change the course of history. During the search he becomes the suspect in a sensational murder.
The drama, which was just forced to move production to Albuquerque from its previous base in Israel due to the instability in the region, features an all star cast which in addition to Isaacs, includes Anne Heche (Save Me), Alison Sudol (A Fine Frenzy), Regina Taylor (The Unit), David Costabile (Breaking Bad), Omar Metwally (Non-Stop) and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under)
DIG is USA Network’s latest event series, following on from 2012’s Sigourney Weaver fronted Political Animals. The six-parter was developed by Keshet Media, with Universal Cable Productions and Tecumseh Productions producing. The executive producers are Tim Kring, Gideon Raff, Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun, Gene Stein and Keshet Media Group CEO Avi Nir.
