Channel 5 has released a first look clip of their one-off documentary Blinging Up Baby, which airs tonight (July 28th) at 9pm.
The one-hour documentary follows parents who “bling up” their children. From crystal-covered dummies and frills to hairpieces, make-up and spray tans, the docu examines these mums and dads who kit out their toddlers in top-to-toe glamour.
Featured in Blinging Up Baby are Marie Fullerton, a dress maker who has been making children’s wear for 25 years; and parents Sophie, Sammy and Liane.
“Bling means…sparkly, princess stuff, crystallised shoes, gold hoops…I think it looks nice and…otherwise you can get mistaken for a boy”, said Sophie, who is a mother of two in Essex.
