Netflix Unveils Character Posters For 'The Killing' Final Season – TVWise

Netflix has today released two character posters for the upcoming fourth and final season of The Killing.
The two posters (see below) showcase Mireille Enos as Detective Sarah Linden and Joel Kinnaman as Detective Stephen Holder as well as the new tagline for the show’s six episode fourth season: “The past can’t be washed away.”
The Killing began its life on AMC and aired three seasons on the network before being cancelled and then ultimately revived by Netflix last November. The series is based on the Danish drama Forbrydelsen and was adapted by Veena Sud. The first three seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix.
The final season of The Killing, which debuts on Netflix globally on Friday August 1st, is expected to address the events in the season two finale and will see Detectives Linden and Holder investigating a murder at an all-boys military academy just outside of Seattle. In addition to Enos and Kinnaman, regulars for season four include Joan Allen, Tyler Ross and Sterling Beaumon.
