Netflix Releases First Images From 'The Killing' Season 4 – TVWise

UPDATED: Netflix has today released the first images from the upcoming fourth and final season of The Killing, which premieres globally on the streaming service on August 1st.
The show’s fourth season is poised to pick up the story right after the events depicted in the season three finale. Detective Linden and Detective Holder struggle to manage the fallout from their rash actions at the end of last season and are assigned a new case: a picture perfect family is murdered, survived only by the son, Kyle Stansbury (Tyler Ross), who was shot in the head during the massacre. Gregg Henry, Sterling Beaumon and Levi Meaden also star in season four.
These four new images come after the streaming giant teased the show’s final season with the release of character posters last month. The four new images show Mireille Enos as Detective Sarah Linden; Joel Kinnaman as Detective Stephen Holder; Joan Allen as Colonel Margaret Rayne, Tyler Ross as Kyle Stansbury, Levi Meaden as AJ Fielding, Sterling Beaumon as Lincoln Knopf, the barracks hallway of the Military Academy run by Colonel Rayne and the crime scene featured in the new season.
