Zodiak Media’s international distribution arm Zodiak Rights has hired ALL3MEDIA exec Gary Woolf for the division’s renewed push into Digital.
Woolf, who will report to Zodiak Rights’ CEO Steve Macallister, has been appointed to the newly created position of Head of Digital, Business Development and Insight. In the new role, he will be responsible for formulating Zodiak Rights’ digital growth strategy and will be responsible for identifying potential new non-traditional revenue streams.
“This is a key hire for Zodiak Rights and Gary will be absolutely instrumental in driving our digital business forward, as well as helping the company identify innovative new commercial opportunities as the market continues to evolve”, said Steve Macallister, CEO of Zodiak Rights. “Gary comes with a huge amount of experience and knowledge and I know he’ll contribute very positively to our business.”
Prior to joining Zodiak, Woolf has served in digital roles for numerous media companies, including BBC Worldwide. Most recently he was Senior Vice-President of Digital and Business Development for ALL3MEDIA International, where he was responsible for digital strategy and activities across VOD, electronic sell through, social media and interactive.
