ITV has ordered a new four-part thriller titled Safe House from Eleventh Hour Films, marking the first drama commission for the indie run by Jill Green since they expanded their senior creative team.
Safe House is set in the lake district and tells the story of a married couple who turn their remote Guest House into a Safe House. The project, which is envisioned as a “returnable event drama”, was created by Michael Crompton and is the first scripted project to be originated and developed by Eleventh Hour Films. The executive producers is Jill Green, while Marc Evans is attached to direct.
“We’re delighted to commission Safe House from Jill Green and Eleventh Hour Films” said ITV’s Director of Drama Steve November and ITV’s Controller of Drama Victoria Fea, who commissioned Safe House. “It’s a compelling four-part drama from Michael Crompton with great characters and genuine twists which keep you guessing right to the end.”
