Amazon Takes Exclusive US Streaming Rights To '24' & '24: Live Another Day' – TVWise

Amazon Prime Instant Video has reached a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Dsitribution which will see the streaming arm of the retail giant become the exclusive online-only streaming home of 24 and the upcoming 24: Live Another Day in the United States.
Amazon said the deal with Fox, which comes shortly after 24 was pulled from the US Netflix service, includes all 192 episodes of the original series and the television movie 24: Redemption, which aired between seasons six and seven. All 8 seasons and 24: Redemption are now available to stream on Amazon, while episodes of 24: Live Another Day will be made available shortly after the series premieres on Fox on May 5th.
“24 has been extremely popular with Amazon customers over the years,” said Brad Beale, Director of Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon. “Whether they are hard-core Jack Bauer fans or just discovering the series for the first time, Prime members are going to love catching up on the previous seasons of 24 as well as 24: Live Another Day.”
