TNT has unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming drama series Legends, which hails from 24: Live Another Day and Homeland executive producer Howard Gordon. The trailer was unveiled at SXSW, where the network also announced that the series will premiere on Wednesday August 20th at 9/8c.
Based on the novel by Robert Littell and EP’d by Howard Gordon, Legends was developed for television by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and Mark Bomback. The drama series follows a deep-cover operative named Martin Odum, an undercover agent working for the FBI’s Deep Cover Operations (D.C.O.) division. Martin has the uncanny ability to transform himself into a completely different person for each job. But he begins to question his own identity when a mysterious stranger suggests that Martin isn’t the man he believes himself to be. Legends is produced by Fox 21 and stars Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), Ali Larter (Heroes), Rob Mayes (The Client List), Tina Majorino (True Blood), Steve Harris (The Practice), Amber Valletta (Revenge) and Lux Haney Jardine (Abraham Lincon: Vampire Hunter).
