Body Of Proof's Nic Bishop Joins USA Network's 'Covert Affairs' As Series Regular – TVWise

Nic Bishop, who played Peter Dunlop of the first two seasons of ABC’s Body Of Proof before exiting the series, has joined the cast of USA Network’s hit CIA drama Covert Affairs as a series regular for the show’s upcoming 16 episode fifth season, TVWise has learned.
Bishop will play the part of Ryan McQuaid. Described as handsome, magnetic charming and a man of action, McQuaid is a former Navy SEAL turned private contractor billionaire. McQuaid and Annie (Piper Perabo) first meet in the field as uneasy allies, but as their relationship intensifies so will Annie’s fears that McQuaid may have a secret agenda.
The fifth season of Covert Affairs, which is set to premiere on USA this summer, picks up directly from season four which saw CIA operative Annie Walker fake her death, alter her identity and go deep undercover in the streets of Hong Kong to defeat her most cunning opponent, Henry Wilcox (Gregory Itzin). The new season will examine the price Annie will have to pay for this risky maneuver and the implications it will have on her relationships, both personally and professionally, as she attempts to re-emerge into the world she once knew.
