Following on from handing out a pilot order to a single-cam project from Happy Endings creator David Caspe, NBC has handed pilot orders to two new comedy projects: A To Z, which hails from Rashida Jones, Ben Queen & Will McCormack; and Mason Twins, which hails from Casey Wilson and June Raphael.
Penned by Ben Queen, A To Z is a romantic comedy set in the world of an online dating company that details the “A to Z’s” of a relationship — from meeting to break-up. The ensemble navigates the complicated world of modern dating and poses the question: Is there such a thing as destiny? Warner Bros. Television is producing with Queen, Rashida Jones and Will McCormack serving as executive producers.
Created by Casey Wilson and June Raphael, Mason Twins is a comedy about fraternal twins Pender and Lizzie Mason who reconnect after 15 year estrangement at a time when Lizzie’s perfect city life has fallen apart, and she returns to her suburban town to find that her sister hasn’t matured past her teen queen days.
