USA Network has unveiled their mid-season schedule and revealed the return dates for the third season of Suits and the fifth season of White Collar. In addition, the network has also announced the premiere dates for the 10 episode eighth season of Psych and freshman entry Sirens, which represents USA’s first comedy series in more than a decade.
Up first is the 10 episode eighth season of Psych, which premieres on Wednesday January 8th at 9/8c. The remainder of White Collar‘s fifth season follows on Thursday January 9th at 9/8c. Suits returns from its hiatus with the final six episodes of season three on Thursday March 6th at 9/8c, assuming the time-slot from White Collar, which will wrap its fifth season run in February. Suits will then be used a spring board to launch new comedy series Sirens – which revolves around the ridiculous antics of three Chicago EMTs – on Thursday March 6th at 10/9c, when the comedy will launch with a double-bill.
“We are incredibly excited about our powerful Thursday night line-up,” said Jackie de Crinis, USA Network’s Executive Vice-President of Original Programming. “As a top cable drama, Suits has a massive and incredibly young audience that is the perfect fit for fans of Denis Leary and Bob Fisher’s unique brand of comedy. Both series feature dynamic male leads, sharp and entertaining banter, and a strong storytelling point of view.”
