Eliza Coupe & Mekhi Phifer Join Showtime's 'House Of Lies' In Recurring Roles – TVWise

Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings) and Mekhi Phifer (Lie To Me) have both landed recurring roles on the upcoming third season of Showtime’s comedy series House of Lies, which is set to premiere on Sunday January 12th at 10/9c.
Both have been cast as high-powered business moguls, with Coupe playing Marissa, a wild-child internet company head and heir to a wealthy media family; and Phifer playing Dre, a successful entrepreneur and clothing company founder who hires Marty to help expand his empire.
Based on the book House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time, House of Lies was created by Matthew Carnahan and follows the exploits of Galweather & Stearn, one of the top management consultancy firms in the US. Marty Kaan (Don Cheadle), a highly-successful and cutthroat consultant who is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his way with and for his clients, is the big-money earner at Galweather & Stearn. He works alongside his hot, young team of big-balling power players, known as The Pod. The comedy series stars Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz, Josh Lawson, Dawn Olivieri, Donis Leonard Jr. and Glynn Turman.
