Syfy is calling time on Warehouse 13. The network has renewed the series for a fifth and final season of six episodes, TVWise has confirmed. The news, which was first reported by Deadline, comes as the second half of the show’s fourth season is still airing on the network. An official announcement will be made by Syfy later today.
Created by Brent Mote and Jane Espenson, Warehouse 13 follows a group of federal agents who are assigned to collect artifacts of historical significance which are imbued with paranormal powers. The drama series is produced by Universal Cable Productions and stars Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, Saul Rubinek, Genelle Williams and Allison Scagliotti.
“Warehouse 13 has been an incredible signature series for us,” said Mark Stern, President of Original Content for Syfy and Co-Head of Original Content for Universal Cable Productions. “We are grateful to the loyal and passionate fan base and know that Jack Kenny, his gifted creative team, and outstanding ensemble cast will give them an amazing final season.”
