Sky Living has set the award-winning Michelin starred chef Jason Atherton as co-host and judge alongside Lorraine Pascale on the upcoming cookery series My Kitchen Rules. Production on the ten part series is set to commence in the Spring.
Based on the Australian format of the same name, My Kitchen Rules will be co-hosted and judged by Lorraine Pascaleand Atherton and will feature six couples representing England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales with a real flair for cooking who will compete against each other to find Britain and Ireland’s most exceptional home cooks. The couples will first have to compete in their homes to see who can whip up the most mouth-watering dishes. Then the judges will put couples through a series of more complicated challenges catering for the public before facing elimination “cook offs” in the studio. Over ten weeks, their relationships, recipes, and cooking skills will be put to the test. There will be passion, tears and triumphs as they battle against the clock and each other to plate up outstanding menus and prove whose kitchen rules. The series will be produced by FreemantleMedia UK’s Boundless. The executive producers are Charlotte Desai and Cate Hall.
