Syfy Renews 'Lost Girl' For Fourth Season – TVWise

Syfy has renewed drama series Lost Girl for a fourth season of 13 episodes, which is set to air in 2014.
Created by Michelle Lovretta, Lost Girl follows Bo, a Succubus who feeds off of human sexual energy. Bo learns that she is part of a species known as the Fae (creatures that have only been heard of through fairy tales and horror stories). Having learned of her true lineage Bo is faced with a choice, she must choose to ally herself with one of the two clans of Fae; Light or Dark. Bo chooses not to ally herself with either and instead opts to tread a fine line between the two. She quickly partners up with a human named Kenzi and the two operate as private investigators determined to help and protect both Human and Fae, while she tries to unlock the secrets of her heritage and discover who she really is. The drama series is produced by Prodigy Pictures in association with Shaw Media and Showcase and stars Anna Silk, Kris Holden-Ried, Ksenia Solo, Zoie Palmer, Rick Howland and K.C. Collins.
Lost Girl is currently airing its third season on Syfy and has been averaging 1.3 million total viewers, 676,000 Adults 18-49 and 721,000 Adults 25-54. The series, which is one of four international series which air on the cable network (the other three being Merlin, Sinbad and Primeval: New World), currently ranks as the number 1 original cable drama among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 in its time period
