Stewart Wright Joins ITV's 'Love And Marriage' As Series Regular – TVWise

EXCLUSIVE: My sources are telling me that British actor Stewart Wright has been cast in ITV’s upcoming drama series Love and Marriage as a series regular. Wright’s previous credits include Rescue Me and Doc Martin, he is represented by Grantham Hazeldine. The exact nature of Wright’s role is being kept under wraps, but I hear that he will appear in all six episodes of the series. ITV has yet to announce the commission of Love and Marriage, but I hear that it is currently being shot on location in Coventry, with production expected to last until May.
Love and Marriage was created by Stewart Harcourt (Sky1’s Treasure Island) and while exact plot details are being kept under wraps my sources tell me that is is “a drama about friends and family.” Since TVWise broke the news that the series had been commissioned, I have confirmed that the series is set in Coventry and I’m still being told that Love and Marriage revolves around the daily lives of a couple who have started to drift apart, as well as their friends and family. According to my sources, the series also stars Alison Steadman (Gavin & Stacey), Graeme Hawley (Coronation Street), Celia Imrie (Bridget Jones’s Diary) and Larry Lamb (EastEnders), with Nativity helmer Debbie Isitt directing. I hear that Rebecca De Souza (Prisoners’ Wives) and Lawrence Till (Shameless) are producing, with Tiger Aspect’s Will Gould serving as executive producer.
