Sony Pictures Television has appointed former Remark Media CEO Carrie Ferman as Senior Vice President, Business Strategy and Development, International Production. A veteran of the entertainment industry, Ferman has previously held roles at Time Warner, Cap Gemini, The Walt Disney Company and NBCUniversal, where she oversaw business development and strategy initiatives across the company’s local media division.
In her new role Ferman will support Sony’s international productions and its portfolio of 18 production companies in both strategy and growing the business. She will be based out of Sony’s London office and will report to Andrea Wong, President of International Production for Sony Pictures Television.
