ABC Family has handed series orders to drama pilots The Fosters and Twisted (formerly known as Socio) to series. Both shows have been given 10 episode orders and are set to premiere this summer. The pick up of both pilots only leaves one drama pilot undecided. However, I’m told that pilot Terminales is still in contention for a pick up at the network.
“ABC Family is synonymous with groundbreaking storytelling and iconic characters,” said Michael Riley, President of ABC Family. “These new shows will bring the same depth, heart, close relationships and authenticity that our viewers have come to expect and, will pair nicely with our already established pop culture hits.”
