Tom Marshall To Direct 'Undercover' Sitcom Pilot For UKTV's Dave Channel – TVWise

EXCLUSIVE: Last month TVWise broke the news that UKTV’s Dave channel had placed a pilot order for its first original sitcom titled Undercover. I’ve now learned that Tom Marshall has been tapped to direct the pilot, which is set to enter production in the coming months. Marshall, a relative newcomer, got his break on Channel 4’s Coming Up talent scheme and most recently co-helmed ITV2’s short-lived series Switch alongside Dominic Leclerc.
Created by Sacha Alexander, Simon Dean and Andy Milligan, Undercover follows Chris, an undercover police officer who infiltrates an Armenian crime family. The only problem is that Chris is way out of his depth. He has to complete his assignment and bring down this crime family under the watch of his handler Zoe. But then again, Chris is starting to enjoy being a part of the family, especially given the new found powers they bring him. The project is a co-production between Bonafide Films and Baby Cow Productions.
