Created by Clifton Campbell, The Glades follows the exploits of Jim Longworth, a Chicago homicide detective who, after being accused of sleeping with the wife of his commanding officer, moves to Palm Glade, Florida in search of the easy life. Longworth then joins the state police (the Florida Department of Law Enforcement) where he must tackle with the unusually high homicide rate in eastern Florida. The drama series stars Matt Passmore as Jim Longworth, Kiele Sanchez as Callie Cargill, Carlos Gomez as Carlos Sanchez, Uriah Shelton as Jeff Cargill, Jordan Wall as Daniel Green and Michelle Hurd as Colleen Manus.
The show’s third season, which wrapped its run on A&E on August 12th, averaged 4.1 million total viewers in live+7 delivery, up some 5% from the averages for season 2. The drama series is the network’s longest running drama series and was used this past Summer to launch the network’s new hit: Longmire.
