Alibi Sets UK Premiere Date For White Collar Season Two – TVWise

The second season of USA Network’s drama series White Collar will receive its UK premiere on Alibi on Tuesday October 16th at 10pm, TVWise has learned.
White Collar was created by Jeff Eastin and follows Neal Caffrey, a white collar criminal who is sent to prison by FBI Agent Peter Burke. After having served three years and nine months of his four year prison sentence Caffrey escapes from prison, ostensibly to find his ex-girlfriend. However, Agent Burke locates Caffrey and sends him back to the federal penitentiary, at which point Caffrey proposes a deal in which he would assist the FBI in their cases as part of a work release program. Initially skeptical of the proposal, Agent Burke eventually agrees when information provided by Caffrey pans out. The drama series stars Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson, Hilarie Burton, Marsha Thomason and Sharif Atkins.
The show’s second season, which runs 16 episodes, picks up after the events of the season one finale which saw Neal’s girlfriend murdered when the jet they were due to leave New York in blew up before Neal could board the aircraft. The fallout from the incident leaves Peter on suspension and Neal back in prison. The ensuing FBI investigation into the incident eventually clears both Peter and Neal, whom the FBI believed was attempting to flee the country, seemingly unaware of his deal with OPR agent Garrett Fowler. After Neal’s deal with the Bureau is reinstated he sets off to stop an elaborate bank heist which is set to be carried out by a criminal known as The Architect. Throughout the rest of the season, Caffrey continues to look into the music box, where it is and what it does, largely without Peter’s knowledge, believing it will lead to his final big score.
