The third season of the USA Network/Univesal Cable Productions medical-drama series Royal Pains will recieve its UK premiere on the Universal Channel on Sunday June 10th at 7pm, it had been announced.
Royal Pains, created by Andrew Lenchewski and John P. Rogers, revolves around Hank Lawson, a doctor who was let go from his position as a physician at a busy ER in New York City after he loses a patient. Banished to The Hamptons, he becomes a doctor to the rich and famous, as well as those in need, in a practice which is known as concierge medicine. The series stars Mark Feuerstein as Hank Lawson, Paulo Costanzo as Evan Lason, Jill Flint as Jill Casey and Reshma Shetty as Divya Katdare.
In the show’s 16 episode third season, Hank and Evan are at loggerheads over the right way to develop HankMed, but they’ll need to put their differences behind them as soon as possible if they’re to keep their errant father Eddie (Henry Winkler, Happy Days) in check. What’s more, the grandfather they’ve never met (Ed Asner, Lou Grant) is also heading to the Hamptons.
