ITV Cancels Eternal Law, No Decision Yet On Future Of Law & Order: UK, Endeavour Or Above Suspicion – TVWise

ITV has canceled fantasy drama series Eternal Law after just one season, the channel has confirmed. Eternal Law starred Samuel West, Ukweli Roach, Tobias Menzies, Orla Brady and Hattie Morahan and revolved around two angels who are sent to practise as Barristers in order to provide assistance to people in need of help. The final episode of the series attracted just under three million viewers.
The news of the cancellation first broke on Tuesday night when series star Samuel West tweeted “Alas there will be no more Eternal Law; not enough people watched it. A thousand thanks to those of you who did, and said such kind things. I’ll miss Zak and the gang enormously, but I’m very proud of the work we did. And we’ll always have York. Onward!”
I have also learned that ITV has yet to make a decision on ordering a weekly TV series based on the Morse prequel TV movie Endeavour or renewing Law & Order: UK or Above Suspicion for another season.
