Months after The Young Pope wrapped its run, Sky Atlantic is eyeing a return to the papacy. The satcaster is re-teaming with HBO for a limited series follow up to the Jude Law fronted series titled The New Pope.

BBC One has found their Robin. Holliday Grainger has been set as the female lead in The Cormoran Strike Mysteries, which is based on the Strike series of novels by J.K. Rowling (writing under the pen name Robert Galbraith). Grainger, whose previous TV credits include Showtime's The Borgias and A+E Networks' Bonnie & Clyde miniseries, will play Robin Ellacott, who serves as part assistant/part-partner to war veteran turned private investigator Cormoran Strike.

Close to a year after TVWise first reported that such a move was in the works, HBO has officially come on-board BBC One's drama series The Cormoran Strike Mysteries, an adaptation of the Strike novels by JK Rowling (published under the pen name Robert Galbraith), and will serve as the U.S. and Canadian broadcaster.

HBO and Keshet International are teaming up for an as-yet untitled drama series about the disappearance of three Israeli teens, TVWise has learned. "We’re excited to work with Keshet and this extremely talented and creative group led by Hagai Levi", said HBO's President of Programming Casey Bloys. "We look forward to sharing this important story with our subscribers.”

HBO is re-teaming with Jay and Mark Duplass. The network has green-lit Room 104, a new scripted anthology comedy series from the two brothers, who were behind the premium cabler's critically acclaimed but ultimately short-lived comedy series Togetherness, TVWise has learned.

After months of rumours HBO has confirmed that the upcoming seventh season of Game Of Thrones will be shorter. Rather than the ten episodes that have been ordered for the show's first six seasons, the network has instead only ordered seven episodes for next season.
