CBS All Access is establishing a firmer link between Star Trek: Discovery and The Original Series. The nascent streaming service has announced that they have tapped James Frain to play the recurring role of Sarek, the famed father of Spock. Additionally, while production on the series is on-track to begin next week in Toronto, Canada under new showrunners Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts, the release window has once again slipped.

Lindo will play Robert Boseman, an attorney who starts poaching Diane Lockhart’s associates and clients when she gets into financial trouble, and threatens her ability to stay in business. He joins Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Sarah Steele and Rose Leslie in the main cast.

Rose LeslieGame Of Thrones star Rose Leslie has joined the cast of CBS All Access' untitled The Good Wife spin-off in a series regular role, TVWise has learned. Leslie, best known for playing Wildling Ygritte in the HBO fantasy series, will play Maia, Diane Lockhart’s goddaughter who joins her firm just after passing the bar, and is a key part of Diane’s plan for the future.
