ABC’s ‘The Good Doctor’ Picked Up For Full Season

ABC has handed out a full season order to their Freddie Highmore fronted freshman medical drama The Good Doctor. The show's first season will now consist of twenty-two episodes. The series is set to air on this side of the pond on Sky Living, after they acquired The Good Doctor in a deal with international distributor Sony Pictures Television.

ABC Still Mulling Potential ‘Star Wars’ TV Series

Ever since ABC parent Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012 there has been talk, off and on, about a potential live-action Star Wars series coming to the network. At the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, new network topper Channing Dungey confirmed that, while there is not a Star Wars project in active development, the ambition to get such a series on ABC is still very much there.
